Welcome to The Aqua Zoo

Introducing The AquaZoo aquatic system with its Patent Pending design
A revolutionary new way to maintain and display your fish, corals and invertebrates. In an attractive system that provides easy viewing and low maintenance. We started this design with Betta fish in mind, we wanted a way to display multiple males in a low maintenance environment that really shows the fish off. We created a system that does exactly that with a high-volume, bio-filtration system and a unique water current system. The system is so unique it is has a patent pending. The unique hydrodynamic design creates filtration currents within the display area that have a self-cleaning effect which reduces maintenance. The high-volume, filtration system aerates the water and biologically absorbs the waste while using less than 10 watts of electricity.

It's the ultimate BETTA tank
The 36" AquaZoo optimally displays 18 aggresive Bettas in a half gallon
low-maintenance, self-contained system that is fully filtered

It's the perfect system for retail sales
The 36 inch AquaZoo holds 18 bettas in 2 inch compartments. The compact 10"H by 12"D by 36"W AquaZoo tank holds specimens in an attractive and easy to manage set up. A second unit can be tiered behind the first for a more impressive counter display. This space basically requires a 36" x 24" area of counter space that can hold 36 Bettas. We first designed this system with Bettas in mind since they are one of the most popular fish kept, every store should have them. Keeping them in cups is tiresome, laborous and fails to create an attractive and easy to manage set-up. The Aqua Zoo solves this problem and creates a focal point in your store.

Bettas look their best as they impress other males with their spectacular fins and size.
Notice the system uses NO GRAVEL!
Not just Bettas - the Aqua Zoo is a great way to display all kinds of water life. Since the compartments can be adjusted and tailored to the keeper's immediate needs it has endless potential. If you want to display a colored up Peacock Cichlid so you can sell young "brown" fish divide the tank into several compartments with the male in its larger compartment and keep the younger fish seperated in the remaining area of the tank. If you want to display multiple male Peacocks divide the tank into 4 sections and you can house them safely without them killing each other or damage due to aggression.

Invertebrates do fantastic in this system, anything from fresh to saltwater, ornamental shrimp to various crayfish and lobsters. They thrive in this system and draw the customer's attention with their endless activity.
Breeding Fish
Our system is an excellent way to keep and breed smaller egg layers and live bearers. Egg layers are kept in the left compartment area where they can breed and care for their eggs until the fry become "free swimming". Once the fry start to move they are gently swept away into the right compartment areas where they are "safe" from sometimes over zealous parents that may eat them. Live bearers work great in this system, babies are swept away from their parents out of harms way into the "safe zone". The filter system will not suck up fry, the babies are protected mechanically by the pre filter sponge. This system can be used to breed many species of fish and Inverts including salt water species such as Clownfish where light is used to attract the fry away from the parents compartment into a safe feeding area.
On The Road Fish Displays
If you are setting up to sell and display fish or anything that lives in water at a show this system will seriously upgrade the methods you may currently be using. The display is cutting edge and makes your presentation the best it can be. Besides improving your visual display it is easy to manage your specimens while on the move. The system can still run with only a few inches of water in it while fish are being moved. With only 3 - 5 gallons of water it can be moved with ease and set up in "limp mode" to run as you set up for the show. Many trucks are now equipped with the ability to run a.c. equipment - each unit uses approx. 9 watts to circulate water which is minimal within the trucks abilities (typically 150 watts).

Runs with only of inches of water, The AquaZoo unit can be drained to a manageable volume of water and then moved by a single person with relative ease.

This demonstrates the movement of water through the filteration area.

This overhead picture demonstrates the cycle of water through a typical situation. The front viewing area would be the clear pane at the top of this picture.
Water Flow
It's all about the unique way water flows around the divided areas. Watch below as we use food coloring to demonstrate the flow of water under each cell. The heaviest flow is the bottom area but water passes in front and behind each cell. The bottom flow sweeps away uneaten food and waste to the last compartment where it can be collected by the filter, note flow is from left to right.

The AquaZoo uses LED lighting systems for optimal display and plant growth while conserving power and benefitting from this newer technology.
